You may be sat here on the day of the Stayers hurdle wishing that you'd dug out as much as you could and lumped it all onto a Paisley Park single.

Nothing wrong with dreams here is mine
Champion chase Duc des genievres 12/1 seems the forgotten horse of the festival brilliant Arkle winner improving all the time Gold cup delta work 25/1 beaten by two top novices but is to big a price nothing much between the three of them ,although they all need to improve To beat al boum photo who was a brilliant gold cup winner and only just out of novice stage himself. Arkle Thomas Darby 25/1 ran well in the supreme hasn’t looked totally 100 percent this season but fences could be what he needs to sort that out. Ryanair defi du Seuil 12/1 surely this will be his target cracking juvenile hurdler missing in action last season finished this season doing everything Right looks classy, total respect for nogoodys selection Frodon who like defi will surely run here. |

The chances of percy getting there under currenf "genius" are greater than 16\1 !
He had his chance last year, unfortunatelt sheer stupidity and alcohol won the day Unless a change of genius..... |

Irish, you're doing a Boris now
,you defended P.P. all last winter, not to mention championing the trainer who was clever and astute who knew what he was doing. Where did stupidity and alcohol come from ? Apart from the evidence of the result,of course. Do tell. |

By:
Defended him ? No i defended the information i got. . I have never been lucky enough to train a potential gold cup winner, but if i had i would sleep in the stable until he got to the track, other shy retiring people not used to the paparazzi turning up at all hours might react differently.

I mightn't sleep in the stable Irish, but he would certainly sleep in my bed. I've slept in the kennels with moderate dogs f.f.s. what about the devil's urine though, I heard no mention of that before.

If it ws me and I heard there was a massive storm coming the days before the g c i like to think i would send my chetenham entries over at the same time as the big trainers, like the sunday before, leave them at somewhere like aintree on the way down. That way i coud guarentee he wouldnt get sea sick on the way over and not arrive at cheltenham as the thursday crowd were coming out and not get stuck in the traffic for another two hours. Then perhaps i coukd justify going on the pi55 until the early hours on the wed night before the g c , i would like to think that although i was shy and retiring and didnot court publicity,i would have a bit more respect for the g c let alone the g n

Such a pity. I suppose this means you won't be moving your string over to P. J. Kelly anytime soon. Perhaps if enough people say you're a genius you start to believe them.
