We are reaching the watershed year where the kids come through and establish themselves.
Davy survived Cooper but Jack's a different gravy.
Ruby and Paul vie for Willie's best whilst dicky is brilliant
Who is going to shine this year ?
Who else is coming through ?
Will the women start to pile up the winners ?
Thoughts ?

The stable form and the class of the horses are more important than the jockeys but if it were possible to put 10 horses together equally matched so that the jockey made the difference I would pick Russell every time. Age is against most of the best riders now so Ruby, Barry G, Noel Fehily and Russell are all vulnerable to getting hurt by a bad fall early in the meeting. I happen to think that Cobden will be top jockey. Nicholls is flying and he will have some good rides for Tizzard as well. It doesn't necessarily make him the best rider but he has at least 6 very good shots at the moment.

I know Ruby has another injury at the moment but he has been very selective since coming back from his last major lay off. No surprise if he calls it a day after Cheltenham, Aintree or Punchestown.
