Well he wont be stopping thats for sure.
If hes close enough,he has every chance. |
By:
Might Bite destroyed him in the RSA 2 years ago. If Nicky can rekindle the flame Might Bite must be value providing its a goodish ground Gold Cup.
By:
Kemboy hammered him lto,aswell
By:
True Penzance. Its a wide open Gold Cup. Percy will not be able to drop out the back and take his time. It could be a real eye opener for him.
By:
Well Kemboy is a big player in the Gold Cup after that run,but hes never gone further than 3m.
I also think Bellshill has improved from his last run looking at both races. |
By:
might be wrong but Sizing John might have
gone 3m+ 1st time in the GC. |
By:
i think theres a fair bit of improvement left in kemboy - my concern would be him being a very fresh/keen early on

Road To Respect had an awkward passage the previous time, and today's pace and ground were far from ideal - he'd to make the running at times I'd back Belshill for the Grand National (if entered) but not the Gold Cup, and neither Kemboy who'd a clear passage throughout when beating RTR by 7l last time. And a shame Monalee was withdrawn.

agree that road to respect worthy of respect. that looked like two top class horses today. not sure if road to respect can reverse the form over a tougher track than Leopardstown. Bellshill will relish the finish.
don't see relevance of might bite rsa form, as Bellshill has improved since then and might bite is not the force he was this season. mullins really has a strong hand in the gold cup and I'm convinced he'll end his gold cup hoodoo this year. |

By:
might be wrong but Sizing John might have
gone 3m+ 1st time in the GC. Whether Sizing John did that or not, has no bearing on whether Kemboy will |

I know,just saying.

She like the racing Duffy?
By:
kemsboy a very exciting horse. however the gold cup might be won more often by a grinder than the flashier type and Bellshill seems more the grinder. I guess ruby will be on him anyway.

By:
No bud, she hates seeing them break down, I have to switch over quickly when the worst happens.
![]() On Bellshill, does he have a question mark over the undulations of Cheltenham? |
By:
Bless her.
Ruby said earlier that he thought he had the measure of Might Bite top of the hill in the RSA,so i dont think the course holds any fears for Bellshill. |
By:
the went a very slow pace in the race kemboy won last time and he had an uncontested lead ,wont get that scenario in the gold cup .
By:
time in the savills was faster than todays gold cup ( and todays ground was quicker )... kemboy wont be ridden from the front at cheltenham
By:
Was never going to be a fast time with RTR having to make his own running.
Take no notice of these times when trying to work out the winner come March imo. |
By:
not sure times have no relevance. think they have some.
might have to have a look at that kemsboy. backed Bellshill today at 12-1 non-runner no bet, my first antepost bet of the festival ![]() |

just watched a replay of kemboys latest win.
all I can say is WOW. I'm on the wrong horse here. Kemboy wins the gold cup. |
