I know the ability is not what it was but the 5/1 looks the early value in the top jockey market.

Unless things go pear-shaped  next weekend he is looking at potentially a very good book of rides in the condition races.

Champ (Ballymore)
Epatante (Mares Novice)
Sir Erec (Triumph)
OK Corral (RSA)
Dickie Diver (Albert Bartlett)

Would not be too much of a surprise to see 3 winners from that lot and it's a certainty that JP will have a fair few plotted up for the handicaps.

That's a fair point, could be on the smokescreen jobs. That said I think JP would like to him over the line as top jock before he dispenses with him.
