As of today, Paddy P and Betfair Sportsbook currently have Laurina at 5/1 for the Mares Hurdle in March.

She is available elsewhere at prices ranging from 5/2 to 4/1.

Surely I can’t be the only one out there who does not believe for one minute she will end up in the Champion Hurdle?

Even if she does end up running in the Champion Hurdle, she won’t be any bigger than 6/4 for the Mares Hurdle in the build up to the festival and before final declarations.

Infact I’ll even go as far to say there’s more chance of Benie Des Dieux running in the Champion Hurdle or Stayers Hurdle should they wish to avoid them clashing in the Mares.

In my opinion, Laurina will run in the Mares this time round before setting sights higher in future.

For what it’s worth, Paddy P and Betfair Sportsbook are top industry price for Laurina to win the Mares (5/1) and to win the Champion Hurdle (6/1).

Mullins has said it is the owners of Laurina that want to go for the Champion Hurdle and for that reason that's what she's being aimed at!!!!

Betbright for some reason are 9/1 for Champion Hurdle??

Paddy Power have now cut her to 3’s from 5’s for the Mares Hurdle, not sure what’s been said for that to happen.

Apparently Ascot bound on Saturday.

In the updated stable tour Mullins said the owners fancy a Chanpion Hurdle campaign, but the Mares Hurdle might be more realistic.

This will run until the Sunday Decs before the race.  I reckon if Laurina turns out to be good enough and Benie Des Dieux is fit and well they'll be split.  A lot can happen before March.

Withdrawn from Saturday’s Coral Hurdle at Ascot due to “ground concerns” ... conveniently Paddy Power had been offering evens prior to the news breaking!

Very strange how reluctant Mullins is to run anything in Britain this season. Is he so focussed on beating Elliott in Ireland to champion trainer? No Irish runners in the Betfair chase either.
