ALTIOR MIGHT BE SCRATCHED - WE HAVE A DREAM IS SCRATCHED

Was looking forward to we have a dream.

Was big on We have a Dream @ 10/1.

have Altior AP @ 11/8 and also in AP doubles and trebles aarrgghhh!!

Also backed OTBS who was a non runner.

Henderson not having any luck and the Cheltenham fields are cutting up really badly :(

Wouldn't be surprised if they pull Might Bite out if it's heavy Friday too.

Altior was unfortunately lame this morning in his near fore leg and we have located some puss in the frog of his foot. He was still able to exercise in the water treadmill this morning, which he regularly does anyway, and a poultice will now be applied and left on overnight to draw out the puss. The foot will also be tubbed (stood in salt water) at regular intervals and the shoe will hopefully be replaced first thing tomorrow morning. Both our vet and farrier are working very hard and are more than hopeful that he will even be able to canter tomorrow and therefore confident he will be clear to race on Wednesday. Obviously we will monitor the situation and keep everybody up to date with his progress but there will be nothing more to say until tomorrow morning.

no horses in particular but this years ground,injuries etc surely shows the folly of having horses in training fit and well wrapped in cotton wool,waiting for a good ground chelt, obviously most are very rich and don't mind the training fees
