wouldnt want to back Monallee without NRNB as De Bromhead said RSA was favoured option

If you are happy to tie up the funds, Monaleee at 5/1 NRNB looks an absolute must.

It would have to come up heavy for Monalee to go JLT. Out and out stayer. Will surely go RSA on the 2nd day of the meet . The Wednesday is meant to be a 'sun hat' day on the long range forecast and we could be looking at geniune good ground on the Thursday. May even water on the Thursday after racing.

I agree Joe, I think he's an out and out stayer and 3m is his distance.....does look like an awful renewal of the JLT though that could be there for his taking. Been a decent race over the last few years, Yorkhill, Top Notch, Disko, Vautour, Apache Stronghold, Bristol de Mai, Taquin de Seuill etc - this years line up looks shocking, especially if Al Boum Photo goes RSA as Mullins suggested in his stable tour and Monalee too, as expected.

I don't think he's an out and out stayer, travelled really well in the AB last yr and got out stayed,in my opinion the JLT will suit Monalee better. His excellent jumping will stand him in good stead

I don't know if he was outstayed in the AB as such!! I actually reckon Penhill showed a bit of actual pace at the end of that race and simply ran away from him, so I would side with Monalee being an out and out stayer, although in the RSA pp will be just a little too classy for him. Penhill is a really exciting horse the way he finished off that race IMO.
