Not a race that I particularly look forward to or even pay attention to until 10 minutes before the off, but has this lad been jobbed up?

I thought it rather interesting he went through the 6 day stage for the JLT last week.  Now obviously this race was first choice and the JLT was 2nd, but if the lads were happy to run him on the Thursday, I would politely suggest he might be a bit of a timebomb off a mark of 137.  Hopefully it will go off around 5:30 tomorrow afternoon.  20/1+ looks a lairy old price to these eyes, assuming he snorts his way to post.

i forecast a huge gamble on this - meets most of the stats trends, will like the ground, de bromhead having best season in ages and may be the least exposed considering a 20 runner field in a hcap within a 5lb range..have gone in large at 22s with corals

i've followed relentless dreamer all season, its a fantastic jumper but i'm not big on paul townend

Must confess I haven't conducted a forensic examination of his rivals and I'm not inclined to either, Gordon.  Just hoping the yard switch coincided with All Hell Let Loose revealing himself to be a fine animal, and his new trainer has sat on 137 knowing this is absolutely chucked in.  You don't throw away hundreds of pounds putting 130 horses through at the 6 day stage of the JLT, even if you can afford to.  Agree with you, this could get a hammering.

LOTO, you are a card old chap Laugh
Best of luck this week, looks like there's some nice prices on fast horses in the portfolio.  I see Hendo's getting all misty-eyed over My Tent and there's not a punter in the land that wouldn't snaffle up your Defi bet Happy

No, that was absolutely hopeless a disaster from the moment he was saddled. Starting to get a little wary of fancying De Bromhead horses.  Certainly the ones I back don't ever seem to run very fast.  And I can't be me cos I had the exacta in the 4 miler, the tricast in the Arkle and Labaik at 40s (for you, sofia Laugh)

His horses don't seem to be in great form at the moment. I've backed Marinero and Special Tiara both e/w today and if they don't put in decent runs I'll be avoiding his horses for the next couple of days.

This seems to be a familiar pattern though.  Taking out Sizing Europe, has he ever had a winner at the Festival?  His horses are frequently fancied and often well supported, but I don't remember too many De Bromheads going in.  I'm kicking myself for being sucked in...again.

What did you do, loto?!

Just on Henry again - of course, as you say duffy, that was bound to happen Laugh although I'd question what skill is required to train Special Tiara.  If you could teach him to enter and declare himself, Special Tiara could probably do the job just fine.  By the end of the week I think we were up to three Cheltenham winners that had started the season in Henry's yard but weren't in it during festival week.  Not a great advertisement Sad

Went for the jugular paid the price Head. I've had an opinion about the Dubai World Cup for ages thought i'd do multiple big price doubles big NH races ew doubles with Mubtahaj and Hopper and got couple winners 10/1 and 14/1 (one each) hoping Arrogate and Chrome didn't turn up. Have also got nice bet Arrogate at 3/1 laid half off. Anyway as you know Arrogate runs other two are drawn in the car park. Be happy if either place these ew doubles soon mount up. Hads a good Cheletrs overall. Royal Ascot next.
