Warning warning warning "10 bet" is a con.

I dont know anything about 10bet but I understood that all online bookies ask for copies of passports and other documents before transferring money and the law prohibits them from transferring back to credit card accounts. I dont know how they can take your winnings though.

Just send them the documents they're looking for a they will return your money.

If you keep the money with them then you can withdraw any of the monies you deposited at any time after that. Now if you decide to also use the 200 signup bonus then you need to wager 3000 before you can claim any of bonus monies for withdrawal.

Its very complicated but in a nutshell if you go for the £200 bonus you have to put £3000 on in 90 days. I only bet even 100's of pounds never mind thousands of pounds on Festival week. Other wise is a very small amount every month. I could never reach their conditions. Any way I would have thought anyone playing with that kind of money would not be interested in all this hassle for a measly £200.

I know I know... gift horse and all that. Let this be a warning.

As maelduin has said about security. It is against the law.

But the £200 sign up bonus is the same with most online bookmakers in that you have to roll over any winnings a certain number of times. Some casino's are 30!!

The fact the 10bet is asking you to roll over 3000 on a 200 bonus means its 15 times roll over, this can be done easily! So you deposited your 400, but then wanted to immediately withdraw it thus leaving the 200 bonus to play with. Ok something i've done in the past so i can't really say i disagree with it. Your complaint lies with the roll over terms.

So you place your 200 free bet on a 5/1er (personally i wouldn't place it on less odds) it wins you are left with 1000, the very fact that the 1000 stays bonus funds means you shouldn't have any worries about using these funds to place a further bet, say a dead cert fav (be careful here though as the terms for free bet or bonus funds uses sometimes means odds cannot be less than evs but depends on the outfit) at odds of say 6/4 it wins you now have 2500 bonus funds. In order to withdraw your bonus funds remember you need to stake 3000 in bonus funds. So staking 800 of them 2500 bonus funds leaves you with £1700 to withdraw as you should then have staked 3000 or the original bonus.

Something i happened to do with bet-way. Needless to say my account lasted about 24 hours

Thanks see the stars. Its all too complex for me. In the past I have done fancy tricks with laying against free offers. But this would not be fun. And I do not do that anymore though it was fun when I had the time and energy.

It's worth it i'd say, no risk and you end up with at least a bag of sand of free money if successful. Don't forget you have 90 days to complete. How many bets would you say you spot in 90 days that surely cannot get beat in your opinion?

I took 1500 off bet-way inside 24 hours. Tried to do same with 365 but the bonus funds bet lost, still have that account though only god knows how. It is a full mugs account too even though i had 3k off them last Chelt fez , good couple friends of mine who are also on this forum are pretty jealous hehe

Seathestarsrs. I only bet a couple of times a month. Small stakes fun bets and I only do jumps. mainly hurdles. Cheltenham is the only time realy I go for it. Which why I was trying to expand my war chest a bit. This nearly spoilt the festival for me but you lot have cheered me up. The basrads nearly got me down. I feel more confident that I will get my money back after a load of hassle.

I fell foul of this previously. It was on that live TV roulette. We had a lads night round at mine when the missus was away and played poker. After that we all chucked in and I signed to a bonus offer. I can't remember the exact terms but it was something like deposit £40 play with £100 so in essence £60 free. We ran the £100 to well over £1000 but because we'd taken the bonus it all effectively counted as bonus funds not cash funds and we couldn't withdraw a thing! I tried to complain that only 60% of our starting stake was bonus funds so only 60% of our winnings should be counted as such but got nowhere. To get our hands on it we had to play it through some ridiculous amount of times. Of course we ended up losing it in an effort to play it back through.

It taught me the lesson that there is no such thing as a free lunch. If you see an offer with a company you already have an account with "Money Back for 2nd" or whatever, it might possibly be a factor in choosing where you place your bet but most of these start up offers are not worth the paper they're written on and indeed in some cases you can actually be worse off from taking the offer than you would have been if you hadn't taken it at all.

The competition watchdog is actually investigating gambling companies at the moment and that is one of the factors they are looking into. Too many people get sucked into these without realising the terms mean in some cases it's a one in a million that you would actually successfully play it through.

15 times is do able as I described above but 30 times is nigh on impossible.

Melv I'm not a big player either, I stake tenner to fiftys, but when I was doing these offers like i said it's free money, you can't withdraw it till conditions are met so might as well work them to your fav.
I would definitely have the 200 on something I fancied in the first day next weeks fez, if it won I would have it all on something I fancied the next day, e.g. 200 melon 3/1, 600 limini 5/4, you have (depending if this outfit includes the bonus stake in returns) 1350 or 650. You've now turned your bonus over by 800, 2200 to go. Have your 650 or 1350 on something else say neon wolf at 2/1, if he wins your likely only one bet away from succeeding! It's easy and obviously u need them to win but remember it's bonus funds and you'll have fun doing it!!

You can't just withdraw your initial deposit and then play with the bonus. Here is one of the restrictions:

Bonus money and deposit amount must be wagered through 5 times before being eligible for withdrawal

Yes this is what the watchdog is looking into. Thankfully I've never fell foul of this as only ever done it with established outfits ie lads koral etc. The 365 one is slightly misleading as it's 200 bonus but is increments of deposit amount rolling over can't remember exactly what.
Tho it's same with any company if u withdraw your deposit immediately u lose your bonus so obviously you play through your bonus first. In all cases I've ever known in the betslip it asks you if u want to use cash or free/bonus. I've always just selected that, put my original bet on with why I deposited in the first place and tried playing through the bonus funds as said above.

After a lot of stress. Most of it caused by me including bggering up document scanning and a code number. I have refused the bonus and I am free of my obligations. Apparently.

However while going through all the hassle I thought "How can I get out of this by betting." the resulting elaborate plan involved the genius move of shhtt or bust on YKWImeanHarry.

I now am left with the urge to out a larger than usual on YKNWImeanHarry. If it wins then I planned to put the lot plus the bonus on DJackadam ew if that also won or even placed it should give me a great chance of getting the £3000 on using short price EW's.

Of course I have received no money yet and would advocate a cooling of period for such transactions by law. However it turns out that a couple of the issues feeding my worroies were caused by my errors. 10bet seems to be a large scale very professional 24 hour operation. They quote their UK licence number on emails. So alls well...so far. I do not now think 10bet are a con. But please please beware  bonus offers where you could have to place £3000 in bets before receiving any winnings including those bets placed with your own money
