I agree with you. This does look a good option. Simply Ned rarely runs a bad race and this will certainly cut up a lot.
Educate me. If it cuts up to 7, or less, runners on the day do you still get EW on the first three, or four in this case assuming Douvan is one of first three. The EW terms remain on numbers in race when ante post bet placed. Is that the case ? |

Yes. Antepost rules if each way bet is placed you get whatever the place terms were with the bookmaker at time of placement regardless of how many runners run!
So if you have £10each way and the place terms are 1/4 1-2-3 cos it's a stakes race with 10 entered so which would ordinarily be 1/5th a place but the bookmaker is offering a concession and giving 1/4 at time of placement and at post time there is only 3 runners, you still get 1/4 1 2 3! |

SS - thanks for the education. Learning all the time. Much appreciated.

No problem. As rare as the above is at happening I have had it happen myself once, it can work against u too though! Ie in them big handicaps antepost might be 1/4 1-2-3-4, But on the day your bookmaker might offer 1 2 3 4 5 or sometimes even 6 (grand national sometimes books do up to 6 or say the wokingham at royal ascot eg) u still only get 4 places on your bet!
So obviously it's punter beware, is the price really worth taking that now? Etc |
