As we saw last yr ie vatour gold cup to ryanair, I think one to keep an eye on this year is outlander to run in ryanair and empire of dirt to run in gold cup, just a hunch.
I can see this happening. Gordon Elliot didn't mince his words the other night and said Empire of Dirt was his best chance of a Gold Cup winner. 2m5f looks fine for Outlander and he was travelling very well in the JLT before falling. I have talked myself into a tenner on EOD @ 42's for the Gold Cup and Outlander @ 130's for Ryanair

Finian's Oscar is my pick for a late switch to the Supreme - easier race to win esp if ground gets very soft; EOD (winner over c&d) will not be out-of-place in either the Ryanair or Gold Cup but Outlander was repeatedly beaten at distances less than 3m last season. Hence, I can understand why O'leary would like a formidable opponent against UDS (Mullins) in his sponsored race. And EOD could go to the King George at x'mas and Gold Cup next year, if fulfilling his potential.

I personally think he's the worst value of nay horse at the Festival in the Neptune at the minute. Not much between him and River Wylde on the basis of their respective last runs, yet NW gets all the plaudits and RW is barely mentioned.
But 40/1 is amazing. Good luck!

Oh completely agree. Him and Finians Oscar are horrendously short. It was a completely speculative fiver the morning of his Supreme trial win at Haydock. Amazingly he wasnt priced up for the Supreme at 75% of bookmakers despite being a 13/8 favourite in a trial race! Here's hoping hey.

1) Finian's Oscar (12/1) goes for the Supreme after a bit of rain and, sensing it might be for the taking, Elliott switches Death Duty (6/1) to the Neptune ew double 90/1 NRNB
2) Douvan trips over getting into its horsebox for the trip over, is out of the festival. Altior (5/2) switches to the QMCC and is odds on, leaving Charbel (10/1) to romp home in the Arkle ew double 38.5/1 NRNB
3) A late Gigginstown change of mind sees Outlander (8/1) rerouted to the Ryanair and Empire of Dirt (14/1) to the Gold Cup ew double 138/1 NRNB
4) Yorkhill is out and Top Notch is heading to the Arkle because Altior's gone for the QMCC, so gnomeface sends Might Bite (7/1) to the easier looking JLT, and Genie in a Bottle (20/1) then goes for the RSA instead of the 4-miler. 168/1 ew double NRNB
Some ridiculous NRNB "what if" scenarios1) Finian's Oscar (12/1) goes for the Supreme after a bit of rain and, sensing it might be for the taking, Elliott switches Death Duty (6/1) to the Neptuneew double 90/1 NRNB2) Douvan trips over getting into it
