ok chaps spring is here the sun is shining and i am starting to get the tingles of anticipation as the festival is almost on us! have come up with 3 so far all at big prices and imo decent chances (fingers crossed and wood touched ) am mulling over on a forth who is also a big price but comes with risks attached ,but may probably be bold and put him up anyway or whoever wants to join in or indeed put up a suggestion for a 4th selection are welcome ,whatever remember if playing to treat the bet as a bit of fun and put a reasonably small amount of money that you can afford to lose , i normally treat these bets as hopefully aiming for a place acca but dreaming of a life changer ,a win that would have the champagne corks popping ,he who dares rodders ,he who dares ! anyway its non runner no bet so there is a a bit of insurance with most of the firms now and i have gone out on a limb and whacked an each way treble and small patent on with billys this afternoon.. if anyone IS MAD ENOUGH TO PLAY REMEMBER TO KEEP TO AFFORDABLE STEAKS ,I WILL BE AROUND TO TAKE THE INEVETABLE BACKLASH WHEN WE HAVE DONE OUR DOUGH, I HAVE A THICK SKIN SO DO YOUR WORST !....... TO THOSE DARING TO TAKE THE CHANCE the 3 selections are below , if you take part good luck and on my head be it , and heres hoping its a green and gold festival ! please let me know if you want my reasoning for these selections and i will be happy to explain how the pin dropped on them !
1. supreme novices hurdle ...MOVEWITHTHETIMES . 10/1 most books 2. triumph hurdle ........... CHARLIE PARKS .10/1 most books 3. coral cup ........... HARGAM 25/1 OR BETTER MOST FIRMS a fourth selection will be added in the next few days . |

I've done em Foyles. Couldn't cope if I missed out.

May I suggest you consider SQUOUATEUR in the Kim Muir, keeping with the Mcmanus angle, they tried to land the MP with him last year and was off 141, he then went to Aintree where he ran well but was one paced up the straight, he wants in excess of 3 miles and has been campaigned over 2/ 2.4 this winter and gets into the race off of 135 this time round.

By:
and he's trained by Elliott, who trained last years winner for Mcmanus of course

Foyles...keeping with the Mcmanus theme.. what about NO COMMENT in the boys race...wont get a run in the coral so its here or nowhere.. some decent snippets of form and looks well in off his mark imo....16/1 in places!

ill add empire of dirt at 7/1 in the ryanair
By:
dragon elliot said empire of dirt would be his best chance of a gold cup winner this year and he is trying to change gigginstowns minds on the ryanaire ,this was on the betfair chelt forum the other night
By:
I'm hoping he's in gold cup
Cos I'm on ux Ryanair Dirt is the real danger |
By:
trainer said after weights were released for national he was Ryanair bound , maybe thistlecrack injury may have changed the thinking. I will back it whatever it goes for
By:
he said at the betfair preveiw he would go gold cup with eod and he would have a good chance ,gigginstown said ryanaire ,elliott said he will try to get them to go gold cup ,wether he can convince them is another matter
