Can anyone comment of previous experiences on the guides that are available. e.g. Racing post guide, Wetherbys etc etc. I have heard conflicting reviews on some.
Looking to purchase one this year and there seems to be a lot to choose from. Or do they all say pretty much the same thing. I know the stats will, or should be, the same but are there any stand out well written ones to ponder over and get the anticipation going.
That is besides noting all the expert opinion on here of course ;)

I really liked the Weatherbys one when Paul Jones wrote it. It did help avoid me backing some losers. I bought it for about 8 years running, I did not buy it last year though I am this time.
If anything it is something else to read to get you in the mood though most of the trends may be able to be picked up elsewhere. |

i've been getting wetherbys for last 15 years or so and preferred when paul jones was writer but still find it useful tool. gone to print yesterday( out 22nd) and got email with taster of supreme novices race analysed.
