I've noticed they have had a big change to the format of the book this year. Out goes the 'Major Player's write ups of each horse which has been replaced with information and opinions from 4 racing journalists.
The Major Player's write up for the Grade 1 races can now be bought separately for a tenner.....
I've bought this book 18 years on the run but if it has changed to a purely statistics book it will probably be the last time I buy it as there the stats are freely available on the Internet.
Let's see what the book is like.

think case of wait and see, just ordered mine last week,similarly to you bought it for fair few years now , always found good read, particularly when paul jones used to write it.

Glasses or not, from what I've read so far it's a huge improvement o previous years.
The Introduction articles on Thinking Biases and Predictability Factors are light years ahead of stuff that's been in there previously |
