What with all the news today emerging about buveur dair going hurdling etc min having a set back etc etc it looks to me at the moment Yorkhill is bound to contest the jlt, I mean penalty kick springs to mind however even if min misses the fez, has anyone considered Benie Des Dieux??? OK beat trees last time we saw it but did it with aplomb going on by 30 lengths! Couldn't have done it any easier!! We've seen melon come out and go fav for supreme after just one outing, could this fella be overlooked?
OK one big difference is the market, he is still a huge price thus putting anyone off but just maybe?? |

Gets the allowance for having no c0ck aswell STS

Unless altior falls min won't get within 10 lengths

I had Min in supreme last year and made a terrible mistake at 3rd or 4th and still think would of beat altior had he not made this error, but this year altior to my eye is in a different league, have not had a penny on it but of all the horse's he's the 1 I look forward to watching

Well, I think they may be something not quite right at the Mullins yard this year. Annie Power out, Vautour gone, Faugheen not right, plus a string of other times his horses haven't won where they should have. For me it depends on how Ruby Walsh rides Min. I think he could give Altior something to think about.

Well if this were a hurdle race last season we all know what would happen.
But they now meet in a 2m novice chase,so whilst Altior deserves to be fav on their hurdles form,it is quiet possible that chases will bring them closer. Both have been impressive in their jumping. I just hope both turn up,for the sake of the race more than anything. |

Ruby will stalk, then come flying down the hill. Whether he manages to get Min to ping the last two to nick a lead he could even be two or three lengths clear coming to the last....then here comes the Walsh State Circus

Make the JLT a grade 2, look at the results since the JLT came in, apart from Western Warhorse's shock result (in a weakish race) its been a penalty kick with no-one there to serve it up to these hotpots.
And yes, I think the Ryanair should be a grade 2 also. |

Have a horrible feeling that Min is about to be ruled out of the festival

Yeah - Betfair market suspended, and a few bookies just took their markets down. Managed to get a sizeable stake on Altior (by my standards) before 365 took it down.

Breaking: Min and Faugheen both out of Cheltenham, Willie Mullins has confirmed. He hopes both could still return to the track this season.

Soar one for the Ricci's. Vautour not here. Annie, Min and Faugheen all out. I'm guessing Limini, Djakadam and Mag will all be wrapped in cotton wool.

Slightly out in the distance market ,but altior beating min by 200 miles was not available.

Just been going through the Arkle and just can’t see more than 8 at a push including Altior. Ellison has said Forest Bihan will run, De Bromhead says he’s running Some Plan, Three Stars & Ordinary World. Royal Caviar could run but might not for Mullins but was only 130+ hurdle horse. Le Prezien more than likely Hcp says Nicholls & Charbel looks like doing the same. Cloudy Dream needs it proper soft and was behind Forest Bihan last time, but doubt Jefferson will run it anyhow. Doubts about most of the others?
Betting without Altior EW 1/5 1,2,3 Some Plan OR148 9/2 Forest Bihan OR149 7/1 Three Stars OR140 14/1 and finished 9L behind Ordinary World last time off levels behind Min. Ordinary World OR142 ***40/1*** It’s only 50/1 with Altior??? I’ve done Forest Bihan & Ordinary World in the without market EW. If Altior hoses up as expected EW will go down to 4th? Just a different look at it and of course might be way out. |

That didn't take long to alter. All 3 De Bromhead horses mentioned above have been cut. Ordinary World 40/1 into 9/1.
