a brief write up ,cant be arshed going through the ins and outs of it ,but this fella looks over priced to me at 12/1 ,may come up against5 old adverserie youknowhatharry  this weekend in the cleeve at cheltenham on trials day ,on paper the ykwimh is a worthy fav for the stayers but the 12/1 ballyoptic appeals to me ,
ykwimh has btn ballyoptic once this season quite comfortably at newbury and was expected to see him off again last time out but ballyoptic was ridden more prominently  and there was little in it when ballyoptic fell at the last ,it was hard to say who would have come out on top ballyoptic dont mind a battle and ykwimh may be a horse that just does enough  but ballyoptic is 4 times the price of  ykwimh and i think the difference is too big ...................have also thrown a few spare sheckles on faugheen at 25 on here probably  a nonner but being a 9yo and having had a year offr he may have lost some of his speed and could be aimed at this instead of the champion hurdle lot of ifs and buts with this one but at 25 it may be worth the risk .................selections stayers hurdle  BALLYOPTIC 12/1 1 POINT WIN & FA

I had the same idea as you re Ballyoptic and have backed him accordingly.  Got a bit of 14/1 and 12/1.  Purely down to price differential.

On Ballyoptic too. Dickie's words are encouraging but I'm hoping he can prove himself comfortable on the track as he doesn't have course experience just yet

Disappointing in the Cleeve Hurdle. Either he didn't stay or he burned himself out at the sharp end.

yeah got that wrong ,winner looks like he just does enough ,cant see bally or any in the race today reversing the form tbh

as a Ballyoptic backer I'm hoping better ground and different tactics will help

just don't think he's got the same level of ability as the winner

actually think uknowhatimeanharry is the banker of the festival as he's one of the few horses that has done nothing wrong in the build up
