Cheltenham this year has not been the same for me because of The games being played by Mr Mullins and Mister R etc
Couldn't Mr M be open and honest about his horses
Ruby works for PP and is clearly not a friend of Punters!
Mr R is a bookmaker
Mister M please give us our Ante-Post Fun back for Cheltenham !!

Willie said today he is hopeful that Faugheen runs next weekend (irish CH),thats a lot of help,he went on to say that we will see how he works during the week.that statement helps nobody.

Bloob  this feels like the worst year ever .last year was bad for the same reasons !, It wouldn't take much for Mister M to come clean .

What games? Come clean about what?

Surely this year we know more or less where the Mullins brigade will run, depending on whether Faugheen and Annie Power are back in time for Cheltenham, and that is unknowable. The trouble is, this has a knock-on effect on almost every other owner, trainer and indeed race, because if the big two aren't there, then other horses will be re-routed from the novice hurdles and handicap hurdles into the Champion Hurdle -- and that will mean juveniles might be moved from the Triumph to the Supreme, and -- well, you get the picture.

We see the same with other races and other connections. Bristol de Mai on Saturday hosed up in the Peter Marsh. Will he go for the Gold Cup or the Ryanair? Jezki won at 2 miles on Sunday -- will he go for the Champion or Stayers Hurdle? Will Western Ryder run in the Cheltenham bumper or be held back for Punchestown? And don't even think about the handicaps.

It is wrong to blame Willie Mullins for what is industry-wide uncertainty, and especially this year when the main issue for Mullins is the recovery (or not) of Annie Power and Faugheen after long layoffs.

Surely his job is to train horses, not to help us punters win ante post?

ALways people come back at me with aggressive overtones on this Forum !! COME CLEAN !!! Its me ..everything is fine . my fault .. I just imagined 1000s and 1000s of pounds being put on Arctic fire last year a week at least before Faugheen  was pulled out !! Yes no games we all know where Mister Ms horses are going this year ..

The best trainer in NH racing? Almost certainly.

Is he only beholden to the owners who pay his bills? Absolutely.

Given that and given his and Ricci's history of walking everyone up the garden path and (the latter in particular) mouthing off in the media at every opportunity, why are we, as supposedly clued-up punters, putting any credence on anything these pair of shysters come out with?

And on a lesser point, why is the Racing Post paying Mullins to give us false insights still? Well I assume that's still the case as I no longer buy the paper (Andrex is now less expensive).

To be honest last year was almost a disaster with the antepost but pulled it out of the fire in the end . This year im am under no illusions the same could happen agian but i have to say anyone knowing what has happened before who gets involved in the antepost market knows the score and cant really complain too much and that includes myself . Ive placed bets knowing all to well its quite possible these Mullins horse could end up anywhere. Id say with the ammunition this man has nothing is written in stone and you have to accept this and take your medicine if it doesnt pan out the way you want it too. His record speaks for itself he has dominated cheltenham recently so id say his decisions have been pretty sound so far.
