Another Mullins related thread.

For a bit of FUN, lets try and guess who goes where 8 weeks out. Lets stick to the 5 open company G1's, the 3 G1 novice chases and the mares, we'll be here forever with novice hurdlers and it will get boring and messy very quickly.

Arkle - Min

Champion Hurdle - Annie Power, Faugheen

Mares - Vroum Vroum Mag, Limini

RSA - Bellshill

Queen Mother - Douvan

JLT - Yorkhill

Ryanair - Un De Sceaux

Stayers - Nichols Canyon

Gold Cup - Djakadam


Shaneshill could go in the Ryanair, but for a bit of extra beef he can join Nichols Canyon in the Stayers and give the Wylie's a serious crack at landing one of the features. That leaves Black Hercules to play second fiddle to Un De Sceaux in the Ryanair.


That's what I feel are the right races and would like to see them in, and is for the benefit of Mullins over the owners. I definitely don't expect AP and Faugheen to be together in the CH, providing they both make it to the meeting, but one can dream. It'd make the festival a thousand times more interesting and exciting.
