Anyone know why the Champion Hurdle, Mares and Stayers markets have been suspended? Seems strange that they are the 3 races that concern what races Faugheen and Annie Power could be going.

Initial Entry stage today. Entries will come out tomorrow and markets reopened.

You sure the 3 races are on different days and the other G1s on the same days are still open.

Click into the race on Betfair and look where it says Champion Hdl. Underneath that is the date & underneath that is a tab that says rules. Click on that an it explains when all the suspensions are and why. Same for all other races.

Mares Hurdle and Stayers markets still suspended but Champion Hurdle market opened again yesterday.

I'm always a bit ignorant as to why it takes longer to release them, but the entries for stayer and mares will be released around lunchtime today Giggsy.
It's the same with Gold Cup/Champion Chase/Ryanair, they suspend at the same time, but the entries for The Gold Cup are out 24 hrs later. |
