Up against some good yardsticks tomorrow at Naas over 2 miles. Was impressed with the way he won last time over 2.5 prompting a 10/1 quote for the JLT. A couple bookmakers have him at 25/1 for the Arkle but he's not entered in the exchange market, yet. He's sure to shorten quite considerably tomorrow if winning in ok style but what's everyones thoughts on which race he should go for if he goes to the fez at allConfused

Knowing the owner would rather have one in each race and with him already having min for the arkle I think you can be pretty confident he won't be in that JLT seems likely although he had a mare who was very impressive first time up over Christmas called benie des dieux, she hacked up over 2.3 miles suggesting she has a bright future but not sure how often mares are aimed at these novice chases at the festival?

I think something was amiss with American Tom surrendering the lead so early, and soon after crashing out in the race at Naas. I hope it is not a recurrence of an old injury.

Lung infection diagnosed post race, nothing more as yet about Cheltenham.
