After all she is the fastest champion hurdle winner in history.Surely you guys could allow her to have a thread of her own.
And we can discuss all her wins as they mount up.
but then again this might slow down the forum because it will end up being a long running script  of victories one after the other.Grin

SO Annie will kick off her season with a win next month in the morgiana hurdle at punchestown ,she is in fine fettle and if she was to run in the champion hurdle tomorrow she would win the race pulling a TRACTOR and  a JCB DIGGER behind her.
that is the power of Annie.perhaps they should re name her ELECTRIC POWER or ANY POWER.Cool

Both of ANNIES great grandfathers can be proud of her.And its easy to work out where she got her blistering pace and lighting speed, when the great grandfathers names are The minstrel and Sadlers wells.
And anyone who can remember The minstrel with his fine good looks only has to look at Annie and see that ANNIE is gifted also with the same good looks.
Although Annie is only 8 years old she has already become the greatest racehorse that ever lived and we are all very lucky to be able to tell our own children and our own grandchildren that we have seen the fastest champion hurdle winner in all history .

Willie mullins her trainer is very pleased with Annie and has to talk her down because he knows Annie will do her own talking and he does this because he is a great trainer and tries to keep the media and the press away from Annie.
In the mullins stable nobody calls Annie by her name because she is so famous she is refered to as HERSELF.
when willie inquires about how his horses are each day he always asks "and how is herself"

Why Annie Power? She is fragile, won a sub-standard Champion Hurdle after the defection of reigning champion, Faugheen, and has been 'cocooned' and 'strategically' placed by her trainer and publicity seeking owner. Should any horse be given that privilege it ought to be Sprinter Sacre who is more deserving, a proven star, returned after 24 months off from injury and then winning the Queen Mother Chase this year.

Assuming Thislecrack stays with fences I think Annie Power will be in the WH

Faugheen for the CH
Then it's a bit of a guessing game for VVM and Limini as to who goes to the Mares, perhaps with Vautour no longer with us they go Douvan - CC, VVM - Ryanair and Djakadam - Gold Cup

Any news on what might be up with her? The reason for the defection in the Morgiana wasn't really clear.

Drifting like she's lost a leg on the exchange for the Champion Hurdle

Appears like she has re-discovered her leg, where as faugheen now appears to be missing one.
