Is she a novice?

Well Lmini won a race in May 2015 then went on to run in the Mares Novice. Karalee won her race a week earlier than Limini and having been off all last season Im assuming so?

I hope she is then I backed her last year for the novice race on the back of reading somewhere she was ahead of Limini at home.

She is still a Novice

Not sure about karalee's plans or targets but thought the owner would have a good chance with let's dance in the mares novice race this year!

Absolutely shocking price though barnesey

Yes I agree 7/1 is a shocking price but what we've come to expect from a Mullins/ricci horse nowadays!!!
Fwiw I'm intrigued to see the nipper jump a hurdle and have had a little dabble on her for the mares novice at 20/1 |

Karalee isn't a novice she won a maiden in may 2015 which was her novice season. If she hadn't of won that day she could've come back as a novice this season.

if that's the case SP, how did Limini win a Hurdle race a week later than Karalee (May 2015) but then run as a Novice last season? It's surely the same for both of them?

They both won in may 2015 which was there novice season. The season finished in april 2016? or thereabouts. As they both won in that season it means they lose there novice status for the following year. Limini isn't a novice now is she? and it doesn't matter if Karalee missed most of the season she still won as a novice. If Karalee come 2nd and then missed the rest of the season she will become a 2nd season novice. I hope this makes sense because I couldn't get my head round it when someone told me!

Was the May run the start of the new season rather than the end of the previous one? Guess that would explain it if so.

it was after punchestown so I guess it was
