Love it!!! Never too early to get excited about Cheltenham! I like it when the weather starts to change and summer ends. Most get miserable the summer is over whilst I am licking my lips at another jumps season that culminates in the best week of the year bar none

Look at the novice hurdle at Perth on Thursday afternoon. Moon Racer vs Ballyandy potentially. According to both connections on Twitter they're both intended runners. If so, it probably beats any flat race this season for me.

I booked a villa up in Spain a few weeks after the festival, and have been counting down the weeks since...
Had more fun during that week, than I did the week at the UFC this July, and I love Vegas. Just can't wait for Christmas to be over now, and then it's only weeks away! |

The first sign that NH racing is moving into the winter mode is when some nice horses that have not been running all summer start to get entries. The 2 at Perth are good examples but Frodon, the Novice chaser that Nicholls sent to Newton last week was also a sign that the better quality is nearly ready to run. Get Newmarket and Ascot behind us and some suitable going and the floodgates will open.

Once the future triumph hurdle boys have run in the Arc let the horses start jumping over things, big or small. God I miss novice chases |
