If that link doesn't work, type "Senewalk France" into YouTube search and it's the first video. He's in the red silks held up in rear who goes up the inside to win. Looks bigger than anything else in the field.

Not sure what to make of French form at the best of times but the Aidan O'Brien trained Slowmotion (will be with Joseph now) was 7th in that race and he's ran well in his 3 starts so far in Ireland. Winning a Class 1, 2 mile race at Fairyhouse before finishing a close 5th in the Irish Mares Champion Hurdle at Punchestown (Limini was 2nd).

Nice one for posting Paterson. Enjoyed watching that. Very impressive looking specimen alright.

Has entries at Punch and Cork in Maiden Hurdles this weekend.
Very excited to see him out. |
By:
Not as excited as this fella though

Is this the real McCoy for the Supreme Hurdle? I'm looking for pointers. Thanks.
By:
Not sure how anyone can say he's the real deal when no one has seen him jump a fence. Again, it's a price driven by connections like Min last season.
By:
Is anyone saying he's the real deal?
All hype and guesswork at the minute. But he looked very very impressive in France and the vibes from Closutton are strong. He will only need to win a couple of maiden hurdles bloodlessly to be a daft price. |
By:
I am on myself
but can not see it winning a couple maidens regards ronnie |
By:
Haha! Fair point ronnie. Meant a couple of novice hurdles
![]() Guess they will take the usual route (if he is their main Supreme horse) of a Maiden hurdle followed by the Moscow Flyer in Jan. |

talking to a guy well up at corals last week at Cheltenham he told me ALL THE RIGHT PEOPLE ARE BACKING HIM good luck ps I have just backed him again something to dream about for the next 117 days |
By:
All the right people are backing him?? With Corals??Assume there having fivers and tenners then......
By:
Declared tomorrow...... over 2m 4f!!!
By:
2m 4f, did Min/Douvan take this route, anyone?
By:
nope
By:
probably b 5/1 or 6/1 come tomorrow after dotting up at long odds on.
By:
Tailed OFF

By:
Was 2m 4f too far or he would not have won over 2m either? 33/1 with some bookies, any taker?
By:
Wouldn't have won over 2m.
By:
The bubble is truly bust then!
By:
Well, prettty much, unless there was a real bad scope or injury. Good 2 milers would still piss up against that opposition at 2m 4f. The horse was given an easy lead and still didn't look up to a great deal.
By:
I think the vendors of his owner's French imports have a much bigger clientele than previous thus affecting the 'quality' going to Closutton presently.
By:
I think the French guy who sources the horses will only work for mullins.
By:
Well that was a spectacular bubble burst. Feel like a mug for buying into the hype. TRhe perils of AP backing I suppose. Cant get them all right.
The betting did tell you everything, but didnt expect him to fare quite that badly. |
By:
CCM,
Any reason given for his defeat? I think it is too premature to write off a horse's potential after just one run 1st run. |
By:
Yes Willie said he thought it could be his wind. If so, he would have an op and be kept for next season.
Was being checked out early this week to see. |
By:
Thanks, no wonder some bookies were not quoting post race despite 33/1 was generally available.
By:
Anyone have an update on senewalk and what was wrong? Are they giving him a wind op?
cheers |
