Maybe just an one-off but he just put the best performance of a novice chaser I've seen this season, perhaps on par with Ar Mad's Henry VIII back in December. If he comes back in same form next season and with only Ar Mad as main danger, @ 25/1 he's my first big bet for next season festival

So the Champion chase is between Ar Mad and Arzal.Crazy

Ar Mad twice had better sectionals than older horses but after an injury I can't place a bet so far out. Arzal looks the value as he just put the performance of the season from the novice ranks. If they follow the natural progression rate into the next season and Ar Mad fully recovers then they should have it between themselves.

Ar Mad needs to prove he can post a high rating going left handed, superb horse so far.

very sad news, he had a nice career ahead and based on his last performance he could've got all the way to the top.
