go every Friday of the gold cup meeting ,never seen so many peeps ,and first time I had to que for the Gents Loo ,they must of taken a fortune on the Bars and concessions
I went Tuesday & Thursday, their were queues everywhere, I finally found the best toilet in the bottom of the new stand (vestey bar i think) and the easiest place to get a pint was in the Mandarin kitchen, which strangely had too many staff and was a breeze.

My first time at Cheltenham, went Thursday and Friday. Have to say everything was much better than I expected. Queues for the toilets always looked worse than they actually were, the one by the entrance to the Centaur was never more than a 5min wait even when it stretched back to the main doors. Was easy enough to get a drink, get a bet on etc... and I was surprised how easy it was to move around in the stands even on Friday minutes before a race. Think overall I preferred the Thursday, but it was a great atmosphere both days and I was very pleasantly surprised in general.

Tuesday and Wednesday for me - the new facilities are fantastic, the walkway overlooking the parade ring is inspired and offers an enhanced view - nothing they have done detracts from the natural setting which remains breathtaking.
Agree about the loos under the new stand being the best and although there were queues we never had to wait too long to get served.

What kind of prices are the tickets lads? Thinking on going with the mates but would like decent tickets if going not like hospitality or anything just ones that gave good access to bars and watching the racing of coarse.

I go every year for all 4 days, tues and fri definitely the busiest.
Just get normal Tatts tickets but this year it seemed less places you could go, may have to upgrade to club next year, but when 80% of your time will be in guiness village, parade ring , along the rails at the bottom or the centaur it seems a waste to pay that much more for tickets for all 4 days.

I bought club tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday, and tatts for Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately about half way through the opening day my badges to get me into club for tues and weds fell out of my pocket whilst in the betting ring and I never found them again. I decided to try and sneak past the guards, and not once did I get collared. I had club tickets on me so I'd paid for it but I knew if I was seen without my badge I'd be thrown back into tatts so kept quiet.
As I never got caught once going into club I decided to do the same on thursday and friday, even though I only had tatts tickets, and again never got collared once. I just made sure I went behind a group of a few people and they never if I had a badge. Never had to wait more than 3 seconds for a group of people as they're coming in and out all the time, and to be honest they never seemed to be too fussed anyway. The places I had the success were going through the tunnel near the paddock with the betfred shop on your right, and just up from there going by one of the bars where you come out into the club enclosure down the small steps.
They rob you, so play them at their own game. Next year I'll only buy tatts and try the same again. If you get caught and are desperate to go into club then you can always upgrade.

best mate is the best stand ,unless in grandstand, tatts is shocking since they build new stands/buildings,they seem to want everyone to stay inside near bar. no room ,queues everywhere.
