I think Cheltenham owes me nothing but yesterday was one of those occasions where all of a sudden greatness meets immortality. I think like most people I had written off Sprinter and three out it was again going to be a painful case of deja vu. But in the space of about five seconds I think most of us on the course had the same thought, he can't .....can he.
Yes the rest is history but that guttural noise of many thousand people giving an early roar as it clears the second last is truly something special.
For the record I backed Felix Yonger each way, but like practically every other person on the course I roared it home as loud as any winner that I have backed.

Thank you Sprinter a true legend.

This year is my first Festival. I felt privileged to be in the stands in line with the winning post when he crossed the line first.

It was absolutely amazing, so glad I decided to go for the Tue & Wed this year. The noise when he started to close on the fav was something else. Magical

By the time I got down from the stands the parade ring was absoutely jam packed. I have never ever seen a warmer reception; even for Kauto Star when he regained the GC.

Was an amazing race and scene. Great horse and great training performance. Enough to make a grown man weep with sentiment Wink
