Yep I'm with you Mr Eboue I will also be giving myself a big pat on the back for being an honest punter I went into my local hills shop to collect approx £30 this was not the hills shop I put on the bet the cashier said total of £60 I said that don't seem correct and when she checked with the other shop they had settled by adding a horse not on the slip if I had kept my mouth shut I could have collected the extra £30 no probs I'm hoping for a bit of good luck for the rest of the week

Oh I was in heavens after Altior and I went straight to hell after Douvan. I just cannot understand the hype around this horse who had Vaniteux, not a world beater, upside him when he fell. Ar Mad so pissed he missed this and also L'ami Serge, why oh why....

Exactly, Sizing John would have beaten Vanituex even if Vantuex stayed upright, IMO.

Backed multiple runners but 3 winners.

Had a 123 in the champion.
Nicholls placed 20/1.
Mtoy placed 33/1.
Lost my biggest bet on faugheen injury but came out of the race nicely.
Left out the handicap chase and
A little annoyed I diddnt back vroum vroum but i chanced a couple smaller stakes ew at  big prices to no reward.
Also thought maybe through biased eyes, measure of my dreams was going to get up, but ran a sound race and couldn't fault him

All in all a very good day and a tidy profit.

Same as op, alitor starts a great day and never looked back,one of my best day's ever at the track! Met some Irish blokes in the morning who had went ball deep on min and if it lost were going home after the Tuesday racing if it won they were staying til Saturday, crazy!! The improvements made to the track/venue are amazing, especially in the paddock area, new members bar is top class as well.

Ruby wasn't animated on him but I wouldn't call it cruising. I;m watching the replay and he starts asking questions when Vaniteux gets upsides and until the final turn he couldn't get rid of him and then gained 1-2 lengths due to Vaniteux going much wider and he still didn't get rid of him until the fall.

I only win with small stakes, start putting big money on always lose, maybe P Nicholls might do well today after yesterdays disaster, Sire Collonges 11/1 for me...good luck everyone.

No I lost as well Dragon. Had 11 horses come through on my tracker 2 won Un Temps and Minella I backed neither.

Lost 200 today

Rather embarrassingly but truthfully admit to not having found a winner yet either. Torrid torrid first half of the week. Need a minor miracle to come out of it up now but anything can happen I suppose. Came close three times with Native River, Bouvreuil and Coo Star Sivola and the most annoying thing is if only one of them would have won I'd be sitting here in profit. Collected the place money on all of them but needed a winner so badly. I've literally got every horse wrong, Un De Sceaux and More of That were dagger blows. The plan was to go out and have plenty of beer in the evening and relax but find myself on here not in a good mood at all. At the same time I love Sprinter Sacre and savoured every second of him in the winners enclosure. History from a true true champion.

Contemplating doing the unthinkable tomorrow and going absolutely balls deep on Vautour. Always been my golden rule to not go in on an odds on shot when your down but when you're actually in the position things don't feel the same. Probably would be my only chance of getting out up.

Lost on un de sceaux but one of the only times I diddnt feel bad about not having the winner.

Thought Day 1 was going to be horrific when Min lost but ended up around 300 up so the Curry was on me, won the placepot, and even had the 1-2-3 in the 4 miler!

Yesterday was poor, didn't have any great fancies so decided I'd go in at small stakes each way hoping a win would do it for me, but as usual got a bit too into it, in de seaux suckered me in but had a saver on SS, then the bumper came around and my 14/1 on battleford looked shocking given I saw 33s at one point and the nose was even more disappointing!


Without doubt the worst bit of yesterday was the fact I celebrated winning the placepot for second day in a row, only to go to the tote with my ticket be told it was a loser, I questioned them more than once....only to then realise I put Vyta du Roc on not More of that l.....absolute idiot

Good 1st day, made a mess of yesterday (no saver on Sprinter), Jossie's Hill 2nd, back on form with Black Hercules.

What a day. 5 races I backed in and 4 winners plus the moral winner in my eyes valseur lido.

Thistlecrack 25/1 and 2/1
Empire of dirt ew 22/1
Limini 8/1.
I new vautour would win but I could not back him, and kept with my ap bet on valseur lido.

Great day. William Hill couldn't pay me out, come back 2moro job. Few silly accas still going two separate bets one needing on the fringe the other don cossack, this week has been a good week.

Thistlecrack Vautour double and Black Hercules, a few quid went astray elsewhere.

A good week that should have been so much better, failed to back Un Temps Por Tout (always backed it) and did not have the saver on Sprinter I planned to. Friday has never been kind though.

Not a good day so far today. Had a very small antepost on ivanovich gorbatov.  But nothing in the county or in the bartlett. Was hoping champers or barters hill were going to keep on to the line but Fair play if anyone had harry.
My last hopes of the festival are don cossack 8/1  Djakadam 14/1 in the gold cup.
And mr mix 20/1 ew. Whiteout 92.0 25/1 ew in the martin pipe.
