Isn't it ironic

I've spent the last few months and particularly last few weeks working out what will win at Cheltenham. Like many of you I guess. Anyway today I struggled like mad to lose £25. Each horse I backed to place seemed to want to win - altior, minella Rocco. I did have success with others I only backed to place - Nichols canyon, beuveur Dair, vaniteaux ( oh no that fell when maybe might have pushed the fav) but feel a little exhausted yet excited that there are 3 more days to go. . . . This evening I had a look at Wolverhampton and backed a horse with little chance, but it had been gelded since last win and seemed to gain a £500 profit. Is it really worth all the study, agonising, debating, angst, am I right, did I see what I thought I saw, why is that 8/11 ? Why is that 33/1 ? Could it happen ? Why did that run so poorly ? I thought it was a good jumper, . . . . . Abso . . Bloody . . . Lutely !!
