I'm going Club on Friday in an attempt to make it a slightly more pleasant. Any advice? Is it worth the extra cash? Any advice on where to view or decent less crowded bars would be greatly appreciated.

I was in club today, and deffinately worth the money imo. Good vantage points and east access to all areas and especially the toilets. Might be different gold cup day mind.

Anyone with a tatts ticket today could easily walk into club unchallenged. Never seen the members lawn so packed for the 1st race.

I would say so, the new facilities behind the stand are really special, definitely enhance the experience.

Tatts was really enjoyable today for a change. Lots of room, easy to get a drink, good mobile reception. Long may it continue
