Ballynagour - Ryanair

About time he got a shout, ignore winter soft ground 3 miles with this horse, spring good ground and he's a player for this race preferably fresh. He wants 2.5 on good ground around Cheltenham,he's got good form with the very best during the spring and he's forgotten all about because of how he goes through bad winter ground over 3 miles.

Although ultimately well beat in the Denman last time , he travelled with much more ease through the race and traded short at one point before stamina and ground saw him beat, there was much more encouragement there and the stable are showing signs of life. He's also entered in the 3 mile handicap and the 2.4 mile handicap that he's previously won but he doesn't truly stay 3 miles and can't see them running him off top weight in either races.

In 2014 he won at the festival fresh before another good 3rd in the Melling Chase and a 2nd at Punchy behind Sizing Europe in the CC, last year he missed the festival but ran at Aintree where he was a head behind conti over 3 miles that he doesn't quite last over, but still very decent form indeed, then he was running a very big race at Punchy in the GC where he travelled as well as anything against Cossack and co when coming down, he'd have been caught out anyway in the end when the stamina would have given out, but below Vautour on decent spring ground he's as good as the rest IMO.

He's a standout 50's with Hills and that's huge and well worth the risk about him not turning up.
