They called it Weds, i think Timtin, but he was uneasy on here from Monday - which was when (in my wisdom), I thought that there might be a bit of value in AFs price...........

Great news (obviously as long as the horse is ok), if you've backed anything else though.
The prices 2 weeks ago now look very good, if you picked a nice few ew shots. Very open now. |

Having laid Faugheen, Annie Power (mares) and Douvan at around 7/4 each, I now look likely to have just Douvan to worry about. He does still look a good thing but so did the other two. If Garde La Victoire doesn't run, I find it hard to see Douvan getting beaten bar a fall but falling in the Arkle is a very common occurrence.

AP certain to line up now with RW up. Wylie will say 'thanks very much for making my ar*e like a blood orange Willie' and normal service will be resumed at Closutton.

What a shame another Mullins horse is out. One of the few trainers who has never put away ante-post punters.

One of my strategies this year was to lay everything in the CH place market except the Mullins big 3 of Faugheen, Artic Fire and Nicholas Canyon. My position was looking good a little while ago but now looks precarious though hopefully Annie Power will provide some relief.

It's a pitty. Wannae see the best horses in these races. Makes Ruby's decision easier if there's any positive to be extracted.
