Over the Years I have stayed at a couple of places

Most recent years have stayed in a village called Broadway - beautiful place tad far away

Other place has been Churchdown

Was wondering what places people recommend

Bourton on the water is amazingly beautiful but if you are after a good selection of restaurants and bars with plenty of hotels i would recommend Burford

Stow On The Wold

I really love getting out of Cheltenham for the Festival week. Stayed in the town once - never again. Much prefer the Cotswolds, Malvern or Cirencester

Cheltenham near the football ground for the last four years, before that stow, Tewkesbury winchcombe Gloucester and Bristol oh and Worcester, wouldn't have it any other way now, yes you pay a bit more but save loads of time on the travelling. Can't beat being 15 minutes to the course and far enough away from the town centre.

Have stayed in wood stanway broadway winchcombe eastcombe  chipping camden all for years at each loction
There is one decent pub in Broadway we found the rest a bit posh.
Winchcombe has a bit more variety and closer too the course eastcombe too far away chipping camden the same your best bet is to get a farmhouse in and around winchcombe broadway that will sort out travel for you good luck !

Stayed in Evesham last year which wasn't too bad and cheap.
But decided to stay in cheltenham this year. Ridiculously expensive though and I booked in august. Might even have to book for next year now.

Remember going on a school Rugby tour there, when I was 15/16, and thought it was a quite a nice place.

I'd stashed a load of booze that I'd gotten from my old man's club, and we all got smashed after the game on the Saturday. Got grassed up, and that was the last away trip I had that year Laugh

I say this every year, if I couldn't get accommodation in Bishops Cleeve I`d be seriously considering giving it a miss.Great location, walk out of course the throngs all heading into cheltenham, we hop on a bus outside the track thats not even busy, 2 mins later in Kings Head, get a few fun punts on the champions league, never had any trouble and met lots of good people.

Always stay at the Holiday Inn Express in centre of town.  Walking distance to course and nightlife after racing.  £399 per night is not cheap though.
