tragedy for the festival this what a shame run Annie!!!!!

Dear god. Awful. Awful. Awful. Anybody with a horse deliberating should strike while the iron is hot. You just never know.

At least it makes the race interesting. Mullins has had is share of luck in getting horses to the festival fit and well.

Will Douvan be supplemented for the Champion Hurdle with Faugheen out? Douvan was left in in case something untoward happened to Faugheen, and now it has.

By:
Personally I would supplement Vautour, I don't believe he will stay and I don't believe Mullin's believes he'll stay the Gold Cup distance. To me he is caught in no mans land too good for a Ryanair and won't take on Un De Seaux even though he'd smash him. Ruby said Faugheens injury is like taking the Ace out of the Pack. What shuffling is going to be done. Any amount of options. I know if I owned Artic Fire and I finished second to a supplemented horse I remove him from the yard.

Gutted. Next year instead of backing ante-post cash is going in one of them big tins that you can only open with a tin opener and opened when nrnb is available haha.
By:
I'm gutted too but nrnb only aplies to singles and I doubt the the Bookies took a sausage for him at his short odds. They have it all ways. T&C
By:
Since when is nrnb only for singles
It's a concession applied too all bets |
By:
Nrnb only applies to singles, if so, more pain my way then!
By:
NRNB is not singles only in my experience. If you have Faugheen in an Acca after NRNB was declared then your Acca is still alive with Faugheen as a void so your x5 Acca becomes a x4 Acca without Faugheen.
By:
Check your bookies relating to nrnb B oyles singles only .
By:
Think it depends on the bookie. Boyles are NRNB on singles only, where Paddies void the bet and it's still alive.

By:
SNAP!
By:
What about nrnb with Bet365?
By:
nrnb applies to ALL bets, not just singles. Check your 365 "my bets" unset y led bets?
Any including Faugheen will have "void" next to Faugheen |

Many thanks; Faugheen was to be my banker with Yanworth, Douvan and Thistlecrack at recent prices. |
By:
Was told Faugheen did not come under nrnb, if so, it would have shown nrnb on bet according to advisor - which I disputed; anyway the bet was voided and stake returned, instead of a single from a double; I placed another bet with selection in a nrnb race, and you know what (?) this bet has no nrnb displayed either - do they not try it on, these bookmakers?
It's bad enough losing a runner with a decent sp yet 'they' tried to diddle you, disgraceful I say. |
By:
I would personally be hoping my bookmaker didn't return my stakes on a possible non runner where nrnb was a concession until after the final decs for fear of said horse making miraculous recovery! It has happened before, it will happen again! Not saying it will happen in this occasion but e.g if i was sitting on evs Faugheen nrnb and my stake was returned and then a couple of weeks later all was not as serious as first thought and he was to make the race after all i would be pretty p!ssed off if then i wanted that bet but had to take the 1/2 on offer!

I have the same bets here, and only Faugheen's been voided but the bets are still running with prices as before.
