Sorry to say as much as it infuriates a lot punters Ante Post betting is a long way down on WPM list of priorities. We can moan and quibble as much as we like it isn't going to change. They will leave the decisions as late as possible with good reason, going, where certain other horses run and just the general well being of a horse. This will always be part and parcel of Ante Post betting, the reason you get a bigger price is the uncertainty of it all.

Trainer has to cement plans with different owners. He can't commit all horses to specific races at this point. It can be frustating, but they're not in it for us. It's as simple as that.
