Sky Bet generously offering 4/5 on Faugheen to win the 2017 Champion Hurdle, brilliant!

The good thing is it removes temptation.

Skybet 10-1 on Thistlecrack for the Gold Cup. Jesus

There is only one that remotely tempts me there.... Yanworth at 16/1 for the CH.

I agree CCM. Problem is, will he be trained for the race? Alan King will have his own ideas but ultimately messrs Berry, McManus and probably input from AP will decide.

Can't see them not aiming him at this mate.... as I can't see any other options, can you? Pretty sure I read he stays hurdling, and can't see him being stepped up for the World Hurdle.

And they don't appear to have any other decent candidates!

I'd get Yanworth over a fence asap if he were mine. It's a long way off, but he's a potential Gold Cup horse imo.
The Douvan Champion Chase 3/1 is hilarious. Even if the fan boys are right and he wins the length of the track in the Arkle he will summer at 7/4 at worse and that's assuming nothing wins this years CC impressively. Unless he is going off at 2/5 in the Arkle, you're not getting much value there. |

straight after the race AK said he said something (and cant remeber exact words) that indicated chasing will be his game - personally would love to see him show us he is as good as it seems in march and stay for at least one crack at the ch

He looks all over a chaser to me MS, but then so did Faugheen and they ruined his career by keeping him over timber too

I must have imagined reading that then. Cant argue with the fact he looks a Chaser though.

ccm not necessarily - not like we havent heard same connection say contrasting things b4 - got on at 50s for next year ch - then a minute later trainer started talking abt chases - i tell you i am the worlds biggest jonah
