I like him too. I thought he was particularly impressive when winning LTO at Newbury. Jumped the last and left them for dead. Should also consider the 8/1 without MIN option available. Thats the option I have taken. I fear MIN might be the Real Deal.

Backed myself yesterday at 12/1 just in case wait for me won and the price was gone, also mindful that pricewise is making his pic on tuesday, he will need to hose up on friday but I think he will. He was visually very impressive and the forms worked out fairly, my only slight worry is he may be better on softer ground. But they always water for the first day of festival and it's likely to be on the soft side, even though the official description is always good to soft.
Min altior yorkhill buveur dair and tombstone all have an equal chance of winning imo that's the only reason I diddnt take laddies 8/1 without min which as suggested above is more than fair if to really fancy min, . I'm also aware iv backed 5 in the race but I'd rather back others at the right prices than lay min. |

Yeah, I know Billy, but I dunno about him at the moment. I was a Henderson backer for years but the last couple of years I've kinda lost the faith. Too many injuries, not enough prep runs, constant niggles, horses refusing to settle, horses under performing - just something not right. I had renewed hope after the Triumph but Top Notch has convinced me that the form was just average after all. As for the Supreme - Tom Segal was on the RP podcast saying he thought Min would win it last week. Now he's scratching around for possible eachway value.

I do actually agree with you ref Henderson. An awful lot of disappointment and angst coming from the yard over last few years. Barry G moving is another negative factor. But I liked this horse on hurdle debut and he looks the value bet right now. Cant let the Supreme pass me by without a bet.

Back in the 'without Min' markets mate.

Wondered why there was a bit of blue when I checked odds checker earlier, must have been Ben Linfoot. As mentioned above, I'm also wary Pricewise is due to pick his value selection, I'm thinking this could be the one ... we are doomed if so!

Thunk price wise might have gone tombstone as a sea of blue on oddschecker

Buveur Dair still 7s without Min, way to go as if winning Friday will be about 5s?
|
|
By:
Not winning on friday is not an option if to be considered a real threat to Min in the Supreme I'd think.

Been given a rating of 154 by the BHA, higher than Faugheen (152) was when Faugheen won the Neptune in 2014, but Yanworth trumps all - a lofty 158!
