Can't help with that but I did walk out of Taylor's on the Monday night last year as Noel Meade was walking in. "Noel! Happy birthday for er, the other week?" I said, for some reason the first thing to my mind was the ATR coverage on his birthday about 8 weeks prior. "Er, thanks?" was his puzzled response. Very good friends Noel and I.

Taylor's seems a racing spot anyway.

Think if you spend all afternoon in Taylor's you'll spend more time watching the barmaids than the racing!

For anyone staying south of the town centre, I believe that the St Stephens Sports & Social Club has a very good big screen facility and subscribe to RUK. If you can find the Tivoli pub, the Club is opposite it's courtyard entrance. Guests are welcome - they'll probably ask you put £1 in the charity box (members of CAMRA are especially welcome apparently) and they behave themselves. Beer is well kept and cheap compared with Cheltenham pub prices though you'll probably not find a barmaid with her hooters hanging out.Laugh
