Anyone heard or know when we are likely to see him jump a hurdle?

Last I heard he was due out at "Christmas time" with Cheltenham the aim!

Had backed him for months prior to the Ascot Gold Cup and think the whole "will he run" episode has taken years off my life, never mind the result! Weld always said he wants cut in the ground, has won on heavy when winning the Ascot Long Distance Cup and has reportedly schooled well .... GET THE HORSE OUT DERMOT!

I am on him too and have been scouring all known sources for any news. Dug up nothing so far. Only mention was by Robbie McN on Final Furlong podcast when he said "if I was a betting man I would take a chance on Forgotten Rules in the Supreme. I know he has been schooling very well". Nothing since. And like you I am now sweating because it is getting close to March.

there was an important mention couple of weeks ago, will try to find the source but from what I remember they still consider him a flat horse, will take their time with his hurdling and probably not going to make it at the festival this season...

"Moyglare Stud's breeding advisor Fiona Craig has warned it is by no means certain that high-class stayer Forgotten Rules will pursue a career over hurdles this season.

Winner of last year's Long Distance Cup at Ascot, the Dermot Weld-trained five-year-old lost his unbeaten record when a fine third on unsuitably fast ground in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot in June."
