Howdi, I think its the first pointer, not only irish, to win the champion hurdle.

but watch how he takes the first fence on that video, its very natural and he doesn't slows into it like he does over hurdles. Watching his Neptune and CH i'd think he'd be alot more natural over fences, god dammit will he ever be sent chasing... that p2p was 3 mile and he was finishing off well, the GC stamina is there especially now as he's older, it just remains unused over the minimum trip...

I've heard several times that Faugheen had back problems in his younger days. Could be a reason why his jumping is questionable at times and perhaps the reason he is unlikely to jump a fence under rules.
