Hello mate.
I've been point to point and don't think I would bother again to be honest.
Cost us 20 quid each to see a few races with about 4 or 5 runners and pretty much odds on favs in every race.all the same distance as well. I think 3m if I recall correctly.
If it rained you would be well stuffed as no facilities....well apart from a portable toilet and a tea/burger van.

Is that at Lockinge Howdi?

It's a cracking course. On a dry day point to point is the best days racing you can go to.

Obviously not grade 1 racing, but get the boot open, picnic out and plenty of drink.

Get up nice and close and be a part of grass root racing.

I moved to scotland 18 months ago so it's a fair ol drive down to sunny Oxfordshire. Shame the "wife" didn't fancy it.

There are always uni girls about at points to please the eye.

Brilliant day saw Sam Waley Cohen go belly up. Very country side dominated. Saw Coneygree which was great. My only negative bookies betting to 150%!!! One race 4-7Fave, Evens, 7-4 in a 5 horse race........rreally!!!!
