look at the discrepancy in prices between Zark and SDR. Clearly they think the blunder was crucial. 5/2 vs 6/1.

thanks, sint - not gonna get involved yet but Menorah at 12/1 is quite tempting for the Bowl given early season form, the fact he's gone well there in the past and we know he's an intended runner, could be a deep enough race though.
Surprised no Rock on Ruby quotes for Liverpool Hurdle as I thought his trainer said he'd be good to go for Aintree, perhaps they're going Aintree Hurdle route but would have thought this is a good opportunity to see if he stays 3m. |

They've not priced up the Aintree Hurdle, it could be a good one with Annie Power, TNO and maybe even Zark dropping in trip depending on the going.
Champagne Fever is 7/2 for the Melling...only one i'd consider backing at the mo but not sure why he missed the CC.. |

Wasn't Fever head-butted or bitten by another Mullins horse?

![]() Not sure, was at work.. |

Un Atout bit him... Then ran like a drain... Again! Bet Willie regretted bringing him over...

Just had my first bet... Uxizandre at 3/1 for the Melling Chase.
This could well be a weak renewal imo. Will Don Cossack and CF run in this or be saved for Punch? Either way, King has confirmed it looks on for Uxizandre and he won the Novice Race here last year having run a good second in the JLT... so it seems spring ground at the big festivals suit him nicely. |

Think he would have too much toe for DC anyway. Think he would want 3m around Aintree considering he looked a bit outpaced in the Ryanair.
CF would worry me a bit though, I have to say. |

I go to the Thursday at Aintree every year and don't think I've been up once.
Whenever I back a Cheltenham one they run crap because the festival has left its mark and when I back one that didn't run at the festival, a festival winner hoses up. Then I think to myself why didn't I back it when he's just won a Cheltenham! They're a bit too near each other imo meaning its impossible to tell whose had a hard race and who hasn't. Agree that the Melling Chase would suit CF though. |

We just go general tatts mate and usually park ourselves by the chair every year.
Loads of space and easy access to bars and bogs. I'm always nervous going into Cheltenham because of six months of backing/research etc were Aintree for me is more a fiver a race and always make sure there is a pint in your hand. |

I wouldn't oppose any Mullins Chelt winner that runs again at Aintree. Just awesome form at the moment.

Think Eduard is a stand out price, the favs a funny old animal imo, think its the sort that needs mucking around with headgear all the time to keep him interested, the Richards animal will be better suited by an easy 20f...
