I agree sonko - surely the croooks will switch him back to this at the last minute - once they're all on

Gigginstown want to win graded races, not land gambles.

This is a bizarre decision. Would have won the 4 miler, but not good enough for the RSA.

Easily good enough for the rsa on good ground.

Based on what? The Albert Bartlett? He just outstayed everything. Surely that race suggested the further they go the better he'll be.

Why are you telling me he wants further  ?

why cant he outstay everything again ? (on decent ground)

I have not backed him but he is a typical irish that improves pounds if not a stone for better ground.

I don't think he is likely to win (or place in) the RSA because I don't believe he jumps well enough. The 4 miler would be a slower pace so less pressure on that and there would have to be little doubt about him getting the trip imo.

I agree he has not jumped well in ireland this season.

6 year olds have a terrible record in the NH chase - one win since 1989. I was hoping he would run so they would drift Sego and Cause of Causes....

What are the french bred 6yo stats against other 6yo?

I've got to say that I find this a very strange choice to make.

Take away the fact that he's a french bred 6yr old (who do have a horrific record in this) but he was by far the most likely winner of the 4 miler. I get that he's the reigning AB champ, but it was a piss poor renewal.

Same with TUM. Don't see him as a 2m horse at all. This smacks of wanting a horse in every race and wanting the better ones in the perceived better races, rather than the race best suited to the horse

This mean Wounded Warrior will go for the 4 miler?

Seems that way Davey.

Hope so, backed it antepost and was near discarding it, sure I read it was going RSA for definite.

No sense in this, cos Gigginstown will win the RSA with Don Poli!
