You know, the horses the bookies deliberately have kept way too short and keep plugging remorsely as prime contenders in their faux publicity for the Festival.

My two in this category this year are The New One in the Champion Hurdle and Silvianaco Conti in the Gold Cup.

Both beaten in their respective races last year (and year before for SC) and potentially facing the same and/or improved performers.

The bookies 'know' these won't win and want to lay them all day long.

Not quite sure what this fred is on about, TNO beating Faugheen would be the best result of the whole festival for the bookies.

Mr Eboue, I mean that their chance of winnning is not refelected in their bookmaker odds, not that they can't win. Hence 'know' rather than just a plain know.

TNO Running for the bookies? Laugh The bookies were desperate for TNO to beat Faugheen. It didn't win because it wasn't good enough.
