Great news. Took 8/1 yesterday I don't suppose NRNB concerns these paddy specials do they?
|
By:
Wonder if this might encourage WPM to reassess Champagne Fever's target?
|
By:
Back to the drawing board again. First selection CF not running and now Cue Card.
|

had a good bet on cc when he won at the festival 2 years ago, and as much as i respect the connections i really think that running him over 3 miles has buggered things up.
every time he runs we hear the horse is in the form of his life etc etc etc, but he just doesn't quite see out the longer trip imo. hopefully next season he will be campaigned with the ryanair as his target, missing the betfair and king george altogether. |

Just put a few quid on CF at 50 and 48 on here.
|
By:
if turning up on the day, johns spirit will be my bet, travelled nicely in the king george, was still right there jumping 3 out before stamina ran out and faded.
|
By:
Johns Spirit wobbly on the exchanges.
Don Cossack all the way |
By:
Big shame that - I really like the horse been a real disappointing season with him... hopefully will show more at Aintree...
|
By:
Big shame is right....was an absolute million at Cheltenham .... Now the value will be gone out of the race....
|
By:
Looks like Hidden Cyclone will be heading to Ryanair due to ground getting quicker.
|
By:
I am still happy with my bet at 34 on Wishfull Thinking. I am sure he will be shorter than that if he runs.
|
By:
Very disappointing. Was looking forward to seeing him.
|
By:
I think Wishful Thinking has a great e/w chance.
|
By:
does that mean Jacob will ride Ma Filleule ?
|
By:
a 12 yr old? love the horse but think they have a better one in menorah
|
By:
If he turns up then Johns Spirit will be one of my biggest bets at the meeting. Sorry that we now miss Cue Card again as he is a star of the jumps game.
|
By:
Just imagine what a star Cue Card would have been if he'd ended up in Nicholls yard...
|
By:
I read comments about Menorah... that they think he is not suited to Chelt and may bypass Chelt... they were referring to his running last year...
so dont think he will turn up... I might be wrong though |
By:
supreme winner that don't like the course
seems to be in much better form this year to last |
By:
You do wonder , with decent ground and no Cue Card , whether Hobbs might change his plan for WT and Menorah and switch them round .
|
By:
over the Ryanair trip, I would still back Wishfull Thinking. Menorah best over 3 miles on a flat track. I also fancy Balder Success of the first 3 in the market.
|
By:
Rath...just might have become 2nd best horse in training ..........
|
By:
Johns Spirit has his best form on the old course. He hasn't run to the same level on the new course over a few attempts. Maybe just coincidence...
