Cooper- says everyone keeps asking is Don Poli goes. Himself, Michael and Eddie want RSA but WIllie wants RSA. Decision likely to be 9th.

He also said Tell Us More would run in the Supreme but the price on here would say different. He also said Stone Hard would run in the Bumper and Patrick Mullins has the choice of all of Willies including Gigginstown's.

From Ladbrokes preview night

Hayley says not to back Douvan until Monday before race but can't say anymore or she gets fired. Enhancement looks on the way.

Laddies usually go enhanced prices in every race for either the fav or 2nd fav for a good few hours on the Monday morning. Max £50 as I recall. Usually very good offer. Two years ago then went 5/1 Cue Card in the Ryanair when it was around 3 everywhere else.

Paul Carberry confirmed at another preview meeting (see that thread) that the plan is VW in this race and WW in the RSA. He also said that they should both run in this as there's no point in taking on Don Poli in the RSA with either of them!

"Ram at least he used 3 words. He could have said very good, good or fine!" LOL when winning in Australia and had to give the speech, it was like torture for him Laugh

Couple of points worth considering here. In his pre-Xmas Irish Field podcast, Cooper predicted VL in the JLT, DP in the RSA and WW in the NHC. Situation has been confused recently by the return to form of Very Wood and the fact that both he and WW are trained by Noel Meade. However, Cooper called this right 3 months ago.

Trainers often speak with forked tongue. Meade had a problem in that he trains both VW and WW and probably wanted a runner in each race. He made an odd comment about WW being weak and needing softer ground...why then come out in favour of a much more attritional race?

WPM wasn't much better. He wanted DP in the NHC so that VL could contest the RSA, giving Vautour a free run (from his yard) at the JLT.

Neither were thinking about the owner, only themselves. The O'Leary's (God bless them) have simply put their foot down. Wyllie and Ricci could learn a few lessons.

Another thing is that if Don Poli and Wounded Warrior didn't exist very wood would just be sitting in both markets and wouldn't have seen half the air time as it has lately on here and everywhere else.

Just because one horse has a knock on effect on others it doesn't necessarily make them all a play. Shows the power of connections comments and what effect they have on people. Go back through all of these related threads and count how many times you see someone putting a proper case forward for very wood other than ''xxx says he's running here''

Maybe WW won't run at all at the meeting. Ground is probably too fast for him. Very little of the rain forecast for yesterday and today has materialised and it will be quicker on Wednesday than tomorrow.

This is ridiculous. I'm happy enough as I'm on Very Wood antepost at 7s for the 4 miler but he is in and out of the race like a fiddlers elbow. Scant regard for the public, they would have been best initially saying nothing.
