lol im 38 miles from france ,but I dont advise on the weather there! you could get a job during the festival as a local guide.

38 miles is quite a bit. Howdi surely it rained far more in 2007 and yet it was only good to soft on first day (of course not like the so-called good to soft last year).

Yes Howdi we genuinely appreciate your up-dates. I prayed for rain without success the last couple of years but this year my good things will win no matter what the ground is like!

the usual pre-Cheltenham drought came earlier this year..early jan to mid feb(normally end feb to Cheltenham week
so perhaps wetter in the lead up to this years festival |
