edeymi will be my bet for that race

one of the 8 jp runners for me.

Join the clan is my bet at 25s as posted on this forum. Should be guaranteed a run off of 139 now at least.

I like Join The Clan as well Benjy. I haven't bet him yet, but I'd probably best to do so soon, as I might struggle a "wee bit" to get the 25's
![]() I've bet Sybarite at 25's, but will no doubt end up with a shortlist of about 17 for it. |

Put it up jan 18 in the dark horses thread. They've backed it the last twice so I wouldn't be too surprised if he was well backed again on the day. Surely has to be the target. |

Good stuff Benjy, best of luck with those odds, I'll have to do with the 12's. I'd agree that he looks the type to get well backed.

Join The Clan a good shout, beast has absolutely buckets in hand at the minute, although I think you'd expect AP to replace Paddy Cowley so the 6lb rise to 139 is more like 16lb?
Been expecting Edeymi to pop up at the Festival for the last couple of years and this year could definitely be the one. I do feel like Clara MccLoud has been kept fresh over the Winter having qualified and got experience of Cheltenham earlier in the season. Rated 135 currently, Big Gordon Elliot can certainly improve and ready them for the day. Not quoted in the antepost list though for the race. |

Surprised they wern't called in Bonnie!!!

how has Tony Martin got Edeymi in on such a good weight?
|
|

Like Lite Duties in this. Made a bad mistake two out in the qualifier at Punchestown and wasn't given a hard time thereafter, stayed on well into third.

EDEYMI EDEYMI EDEYMI EDEYMI. There, I have said it.

I think there maybe more to come from Jonjo's Kelvingrove. Very week when it qualified at Haydock earlier in the month. Will likely need to win tomorrow to get a run, but I think that is a big possibility. 10/1 is a very big price imo

Backed Sybarite at 20s on New Years Day thinking he would run again to ensure he got in. A mark of 135 is dodgy. I think its a 136/137 minimum this year as most entered look likely to run. If there is rain then Closing Ceremony is still a good price around the 20/1 mark. Other than that Dawalan looks to have more improvement in him over this longer distance.

Agree with Slabster about Lite Duties ... just posted about him on another thread ... although was his mistake two out ? Thought it was further from home. I must look back at the race .... entertaining race to watch was it's the one where Dessie Scahill called the wrong horse home.

Yeah Lite Duties is the main Irish horse for this, not Edeymi.
Neither of them will win though. |
|
By:
Showed his hand too early that Lite Duties - absolutely no margin for error. How Martin got Edeymi into this 8lbs well in is shocking - Phil Smith must have already been on!

I like another of JP's and Jonjo's ALAVAIN. Looks like it's been primed for this. Just hope it gets in.
