With 6 weeks to go, surely the Great trainer did not need to waste his owners money in such frivolous fashion. 24 entries in the Neptune and 21 in the Bartlett!! i would very much doubt the owners knew of all these entries. its lazy and ridiculous- he simply entered everything thats got some form. If Himself really doesnt know about his horses now then is he the Genius every believes he is? surely 7 or 8 entries would suffice- the Festival isnt far off now- its not like entering in the Derby 2 years before the race!

Remind me, how is your racehorse training career coming along ?
You never know what can happen between now and then, what's going to emerge or what could do a sparkling piece of work in the meantime. Eg many would have said what the point of running Killer Crow and Mckinley against Tell Us More was, you just don't know what might happen. He knows which ones are likely to be his leading contenders but then he has a plethora of decent novice hurdlers that are unlikely to be good enough, but there'll probably be worse than them entered all the same.
