Tis a shocking price. Won on the bridle yes but beating stayers off a slow pace then he'd be expected to do that. Douvan can do one. Cool

Is it just my senility kicking in or are the enemy being more parsimonious than ever this year? I've backed a few but won't be having any more until they go NRNB on all races, as there will inevitably be defections and some prices might even be bigger on the day when they actually have to lay a few quid get some money in the till.

Not only are some prices utter garbage, they're using the racing post to try and tighten value elsewhere. Much aimed at blunting the mullins multiples. Doesn't help that paddy power has a bitch called ruby.

The price is poor really and favourites have a poor enough record in the race. Ignoring this years races I would much prefer to back a 6/4 shot in a race like the ch hurdle than a 5/2 shot in a race like the supreme. To be honest I would not be rushing to lay Douvan either.
